Prenatal
Evidence shows that individuals who received prenatal breastfeeding education breastfeed longer and more successfully. Personal concerns will be addressed, including any perceived or actual potential barriers to feeding before baby’s arrival, thus increasing your odds for success.
Prenatal visit includes:
-Specific needs in the early days of breastfeeding
-What to expect and how to know if you baby is getting enough to eat
-How to establish a good milk supply
-Positions and latching
-Common concerns, problems, and myths
Clients who complete a prenatal visit will receive $50 off future services.
1.5 hrs

Initial Home Visit
During your breastfeeding consultation, you can expect to receive personalized, one-on-one support in the comfort of your own home. This option is particularly beneficial for new parents who may be feeling overwhelmed, tired and stressed about caring for their newborn.
The consultation will include:
-A thorough medical and birth history
-Assessment of your breastfeeding technique and provide hands-on assistance with latch and positioning
-Maternal breast assessment and oral evaluation of the baby
-Pump fitting
-Personalized care plan
After the consultation, you will receive ongoing support and encouragement via phone calls, email, or texting for two weeks.
1.5 - 2 hrs
Cost: $250
Follow Up
For current clients who require additional follow up in the comfort of their own home.
1 - 1.5 hrs
Cost: $200
Telehealth
Receive breastfeeding support from any location from a secure HIPAA- compliant platform. Often best for follow-up visits, assistance for going back to work, infant sleep, bottle refusal, and weaning.
The consultation will include:
-A thorough medical and birth history
-Observation of feeding, with guided assistance for position and latch
-Review of common breastfeeding concerns, such as engorgement care, prevention of plugged ducts, increasing or downgrading milk production, sore nipples
-Flange fitting
-Personalized care plan
After the consultation, you will receive ongoing support and encouragement via phone calls, email, or texting for two weeks.
1 - 1.25 hrs
Cost: $125
I serve Sonoma and Northern Marin County. Other locations considered for an additional travel fee.
